Designation - Associate Junior Engineer - Supply Chain Management
Job Description:
1. Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP / inventory management systems.
2. Monitor stock levels to ensure optimal availability and avoid shortages or excess.
3. Plan, track, and control inventory movement (receipts, issues, transfers, returns).
4. Coordinate with procurement, production, and sales teams for demand planning.
5. Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile variances.
6. Ensure proper storage, handling, and identification of materials.
7. Prepare inventory reports (stock aging, slow-moving, non-moving items).
8. Implement inventory control measures such as FIFO / FEFO.
9. Support audits by providing inventory data and documentation.
10. Analyze consumption trends and recommend re-order levels.
11. Minimize inventory carrying costs and prevent material obsolescence.
12. Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety norms.
13. Investigate inventory discrepancies and initiate corrective actions.
