Job Description

 

Asteria is Looking forward to hire customer support engineer who will be involved in customer relation activities. the individual must mainly incorporate with pre-delivery & post-delivery acceptance testing, RPAS Training & servicing of Asteria’s products, that are used in various applications such as aerial surveillance & Security, Agriculture, Mapping, Industrial inspection, etc. The target is to ensure excellent service standards and maintain high customer satisfaction.

 

Specific Responsibilities

 

·       Perform Inspection/Factory acceptance testing of Asteria’s product before delivering it to the end customer.

·       Responsible for Product Delivery, On-site Acceptance & testing of delivered Asteria’s product.

·       Incorporate RPAS Training program to all our end customers (Internal + External)

·       Explain the product benefits and enhanced specifications of system to the customer.

·       Periodic visit to customer location for onsite reviews of delivered asteria’s product.

·       Recommend potential products or services to management by collecting customer information/feedbacks and analyzing customer needs, prepare product or service reports by collecting & analyzing customer information.

·       Suggest new solution that will improve the product quality and performance. 

·       Responsible for preparing & maintaining relevant documents such as product manuals, Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Site Acceptance Test (SAT), RPAS Training Program, checklists etc.

·       Address the proper people to solve the problems in case of issues / errors.

·       Improve process and way of working which are beneficial for both our organization and the customer.

·       Responsible for timely delivery of orders & should be capable of processing and controlling urgent orders.

·       Understanding the capabilities of the products and help troubleshooting the issue faced by the customer.

·       Incorporate in timely delivery of service systems and help the team in terms of flight testing, debugging, and troubleshooting the systems.

·       Responsible for taking mature self-decision during any crucial activities and provide clarification for the same.

·       Responsible for coordinating and servicing of asteria delivered products.

·       Adhere to company rules and regulations.

 

 

 

 

Reporting Tasks

·       Inform on the workload and completion status on a weekly basis.

·       Report work status through proper documentation as per organizational standards.

·       Intimate the problems that cannot be resolved at field level with reason.

·       Report 100 % status of activities performed on-site and reason for issue/ difficulties faced for completing the activities if any!

 

 

Qualifications:

 

·       Engineering in Mechanical/Aeronautical/Aerospace or equivalent.

> DGCA RPC certification mandatory

 

 

Relevant Experience:

 

·       Experience: 2+ years

 

 

Desired Skills & Characteristics:

 

·       Should have good verbal communication skills.

·       Should be flexible enough to relocation anywhere in India (PAN India)

·       Should have great fluency in Hindi & English Languages.

·       Should be very flexible in travelling for onsite deliveries & training program as the job expects 80% travel throughout the year.

·       The individual should be Adaptable in any condition during the period of travel in terms of stay/Mode of travel etc.

·       The individual must have attention to detail, logical thinking, and ability to execute the activities as per Asteria standards.

·       The individual should be good at following instructions and work collaboratively with diverse teams.

·       The individual must exhibit good customer service, attribute courtesy, problem solving, reliability, and good decision-making skill.

·       The individual must stay abreast with technology changes and demonstrate string technical expertise.

·       The individual shall be flexible during working hours based on the work assignments.
