Designation: Associate Engineer II - Quality Control


Job Description: Individual is responsible for inspecting and testing the production UAVs and qualifying them based on the delivery requirements. Candidate should have knowledge on engineering of UAVs, safe UAV piloting and able to execute field assignments with minimum supervision.



Specific Responsibilities: 

  • Inspect and test UAV components and systems to ensure error free deliveries to customers.
  • Aware about sensors used for proper functioning of a UAV.
  • Perform inspections using precision instruments to ensure product meets specifications.
  • Configure and conduct stage and final inspections for components and system level builds of UAV during product development and production activity for different electronic and mechanical parts.
  • Identify and document issues and assist with troubleshooting and implementing corrective actions to resolve identified defects.
  • Assist in preparation of test cases, test procedures and test reports.
  • Prepare, process, and close-out production documentation and maintain records.
  • Carry out inward goods inspection of parts as per requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain the calibration of measuring instruments.
  • Good English written, reading and communication skills.
  • Plan, co-ordinate and organize daily functions.
  • Problem solving skills, analytical mindset, attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage the team by planning and organizing work to drive for results.
  • Other duties as assigned or required to improve and maintain the Quality Management System.



Qualifications: Engineering in (Electronics & Communication, Aeronautical / Aerospace, or related field).


Relevant Experience: 2 - 3 years of experience.


Desired Skills & Characteristics:

  • Knowledge on ISO and AS9100 standards.
  • Knowledge of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles.
  • Certification on IPC 610 and 620 standards is advantageous.
  • Knowledge about DGCA regulations desirable.
  • Familiar with sampling standards ISO2859 and FAI process.
  • Working knowledge of inspection and testing tools (Measurement gauges, multi-meters, oscilloscope).
  • Ability to analyse UAV flight logs with familiarity of flight parameters.
  • Ability to work with flexible schedule during peak periods.
